I believe that life doesn’t have to be that heavy. Counseling can provide a lightness to the heaviness you may be carrying. I am passionate about you understanding and becoming who you are created to be. Being a counselor is truly an honor and a joy. I believe life situations have shaped our thoughts and beliefs and sometimes leave us feeling stuck. When you have a safe space, my hope is that you will begin to have the freedom to heal and grow.

My approach to therapy is collaborative. Healing happens through relationships and my goal is to be a safe space for you to process and be your true self. I believe that understanding your thoughts and beliefs can help you take control of your life and relationships.

Create Your Own Dopamine Menu

A dopamine menu is a powerful therapeutic tool that helps individuals manage their mental health by providing a personalized list of enjoyable, mood-boosting activities. When feeling low or overwhelmed, having a pre-planned menu of activities that naturally increase dopamine levels can be incredibly beneficial. These activities might include exercise, listening to favorite music, spending time in nature, engaging in creative pursuits, or connecting with loved ones. The key is to create a varied list of both high-energy and low-energy options that can be easily accessed during different emotional states. By intentionally choosing activities from your dopamine menu, you can actively participate in your own mood regulation and create healthy coping mechanisms for dealing with stress, anxiety, or depression.
