This Christmas…
This is the first time I get to decorate an apartment that is not a studio and is larger than 550 square feet. So I went to work. Luckily, my dad gave me some left over greenery from his job. He actually designed landscaping and during this time he has a lot of outdoor planters he designs. Thanks Dad! All my ideas were inspired by Pinterest. What You Will Need:
- Paper cones on amazon.
- Paint
- Glass ornaments
- A bag of pine cones
- thrifted holiday plates
- thrifted color vases
- pom poms
- Glitter
- Disco ornaments
- Brush Trees
- Hot Glue Gun
The How-to Steps:
Hi all! So the first things you should do is get supplies and do what I do… get painting! Pick around five colors that goes together with your tree ornaments. Take the paper cones you purchased on Amazon and paint those a few different colors. You can also cover the cones with glitter or pom poms. Get creative.
For the glass ornaments keep the ornaments in the plastic container they come in. Spray paint over the ornaments. Wait until they dry to move from container and decorate.
Then go to a local Home Depot to ask for their broken tree branches or purchase greenery on your own.
Use a hot glue gun to glue pom poms to your white branches.
Don’t buy new holiday dishes or vases –– go to your local thrift store! All of my vases are from Goodwill.
There you have it! Thanks to my hubby for helping me take photos today. Also you can find my sweater from Target HERE.
Happy Holidays guys!
