Joseph Chopin, A Chicago Film Producer: What We Can Learn From Harold Washington

Last month was African American History month and I was really wanting to find the perfect person to feature. Someone who had a powerful message to share about African American History. I really didn’t have to look too far. When I met Joseph at a local coffee shop I immediately could tell he was a writer. He shared about his writing process with me, how he stays discipline when editing film and which movies inspired him towards this career choice. Most importantly he shared the story of Harold Washington with me. Harold Washington’s story is amazing. He wasn’t a perfect man by all means but he was dedicated to fighting for the “Greatest Good”, which is the title for Joseph’s movie he is producing. I happened to catch the entire conversation on video so you can learn more and celebrate a Chicago historical figure.

Thanks so much for watching and supporting TheFullColorLife. You can find out more about Joseph on these social platforms. Please consider giving to his cause!
